When you import a blog, do the page views get transferred as well?
-
I have my own domain name and I’m thinking of transferring to WordPress. I know content and comments get moved over but what about page views? Since it’s my own domain, the link would be mysite.com/blueberry-cake.
It’s not the blog listed below. Thanks in advance!
Blog url: http://creativecreampuff.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, they don’t get moved over. And WP.com does not accept links of the structure mysite.com/blueberry-cake because that is the structure it uses for static pages. Your blog URL would be whatever.mysite.com or whatever.com
-
But I’m looking at the links for a blog and it looks like this: http://creativecreampuff.wordpress.com/2012/08/15/moveover/
The post name is at the end…

That’s a different structure, though. The date makes a big difference, and that’s the structure for a particular post. If I’m interpreting your post correctly, you’re referring to the URL of the actual site.
The URL of an actual blog is of the structure whatever.mysite.com or whatever.com.

I should’ve made that clear, sorry. Yes, I was referring to the URL of the actual post, not the blog.
