Where are my subscribers?

  • Unknown's avatar

I’ve received numerous email notification from BlueHost (my web hosting service) that people are subscribing to my blog via the widget I put in the footer of my homepage. That’s great! But there’s two problems. First, I have no idea where to find the list of all my subscribers. Second, I published a new article and contacted some of my subscribers that I personally know to see if they received an email, but none of them did. I was under the impression that WordPress would automatically email my subscribers when I posted new content. Need help! Thanks!

  • Hi there!

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com so our support will be somewhat limited here. Since you’re using Jetpack subscriptions, you should be able to check your subscribers from your WordPress.com account: https://wordpress.com/people/followers/.

Check if the users you asked appear in the Email Followers list there. If they don’t, you’ll want to ask them to subscribe to your site and click on the confirmation email they receive.

You can also find more information about subscriptions here:
