Where are my widgets?

  Just added the RECENT POSTS and CALENDAR widgets, but neither of them are shown. Actually, the CALENDAR title does appear, but you know, without the ACTUAL calendar underneath it. FYI, I am managing the widgets from the setting page and apparently it should work because they all appear on that page. I’m completely clueless for it’s the very first time I’m using wordpress.

  Easy.

  You cannot have things showing in Recent Posts or Calendar until you have actual calendar events and recent posts.
