Where are the social media sharing stats?

    Hi!

    For years, I was able to see how many people shared a particular post on facebook and twitter, but now that feature is gone. Is there a reason for this? Is there anyway I can get this feature back?

    Hi there,

    The sharing buttons only display counts as provided to us by the various services – those aren’t stats we record on our end.

    Twitter stopped providing share counts almost two years ago, so we haven’t shown counts for that for quite a while now. And Facebook recently dropped support for share counts on all but their official buttons, so if you still want that count to appear you’ll have to change your sharing button style to Official Buttons in the sharing settings.
