Where does my email go to?

    Hi there
    This may be a very basic question but I’m having some trouble understanding an email issue. I’ve mapped a domain to my wordpress account (see my old provider message below):

    As we have checked, the domain angryhenpress.com is not hosted with us. Currently, the name servers are pointed to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com and ns3.wordpress.com. So if you wished to host your email with us, please do contact wordpress support and let them point the MX Records of your domain to (gives details of their name servers).

    I set up an email address at my old provider (1 and 1) thinking that my email would still be picked up or forwardable from there, but they say I need to sort it out with WordPress. But if I change the name servers as they suggest above, my domain is no longer hosted with WordPress? So in all of this, how do I send and receive emails to and from (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

    I am so, so confused…. thanks to anyone who can help.
