    Why is my wordpress site not showing on here but I have an email saying that you are charging me for one?

    been running since 2017, It was hosted by my old web development company, who were supposed to hand the hosting over to 123-reg but I am not knowledgeable enough to know if they have actually done that. I can now access my site but only after going through the “unsecure site” process on my browser?? which of course seems very suspicious to anyone who doesn’t owsn the site. I have paid 123-reg money for an ssl cert??? Even then it is a 2 year old version so I am guessing the web development company have no transferred the domain properly, But why would this effect wordpress?

    Got this email from WP who are going to charge me for a site that doesn’t exist or at least one I can’t find on my log in pages???

    https://www.craftyrabbitengland.co.uk/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    With that said, my best guess is you’ll just need to acquire a valid SSL certificate from your hosting provider.

    As for the other one, https://craftyrabbit.co/ is a different site and hosted here at WordPress.com, and will expire if not renewed by November 11.

    Well that is incredibly confusing – for someone with very little knowledge like me –
    but thank you so much for the explanation. It kinda makes sense now.
