  I guess my domain expired during the pandemic when I had to take care of my mom with dementia and my best friend got cancer. I didn’t see the renewal notification in email. Can I renew and get my blog back?

  That domain has never been registered or hosted with us, so it may have been using the self-hosted software from WordPress.org.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  Either way though, your best option is to contact your former domain registrar about this.
