Where is my draft?!?

  I wrote and saved a draft on Friday/Saturday. Today is Monday and my draft is gone. Is there a limit on how long I can save a draft using a free version of WordPress?

  No, there is not. There’s an issue with the New Editor, though, so if you created it with that, it’s probably gone. That’s why I always use the Classic Editor: the new one doesn’t kick in the actual autosave, although it appears to.

  That can’t be right?!!? I am having the same challenge, and I don’t understand. I created a new post a few days ago saw that it was autosaving. My son closed the browser on accident, but knowing that it was autosaving, I went to find it today and cant find it anywhere?!!? If the new version doesn’t save, why are we using it? :( Is it really gone?
