My friend that built my site in 2013 reassigned it to me but cannot find it or log in? It was under (email visible only to moderators and staff) and he reassigned it to me: (email visible only to moderators and staff). He gave me the user name craigIgaither and a password, but wordpress is saying no such name or email exist. Can you help?

You have created a new WordPress.com account but that site is hosted by GoDaddy, not here. What happens if you try http://thepeaceidea.org/wp-admin

The username, craigIgaither, does not exist on WordPress.com. That is the admin user that was created for your site directly, and is stored in that site’s database on your server, not on our system. We have no control over your login credentials for that site, as that site was built using the open source WordPress software and is hosted on GoDaddy.com’s servers, not ours.
