where is wordpress content?

  I have contacted my host (melbourne IT) about a lapsed website but I’m wondering what happens to all the content I built within wordpress? Was the content lost when the hosting lapsed? Does a wordpress file exist somewhere with my content on it? It would take months to rebuild it all and I am hoping I can retrieve it

  If you didn’t make a backup regularly and if your hosting doesn’t have a copy, I’m afraid you must start all over again. You could try the Wayback Machine at Wayback.com
