Which WordPress Plan is Right for Me?

    Hi,

    I’m in the early stages of setting up a small business from home and I’m trying to decide which WordPress plan is right for me. Here’s a brief list of things that I need the website to do:

    1) It needs to work with Patreon. I want a Patreon button on the front page so customers can donate.

    2) It needs to have a message board so customers can discuss the products on offer.

    3) Some of the products I intend to sell will come with .PDF documents. Customers need to be able to download them directly from the site.

    Now, at first glance, the WordPress Business Plan seems like the only one which will allow me to do all these. The problem is that it’s rather expensive. Is it possible for me to have all of the above features on the more affordable personal plan?

    (1) a WordPress.com site with a Business plan https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/ or
    (2) a self hosted wordpress.ORG install on paid hosting. https://move.wordpress.com/
