while downloading template from Elementor, will only save as javascript.

Download of my first web-building Template from Elementor. (MacBookPro), it wants to ‘open’ the file instead of ‘save’, and it is javascript, no template. Tried a few times. Is this an Apple issue, or is it Elementor issue? I have also tried to download from tyler.com, youtube web-builder/teacher.
