Who is the registrar?
-
I’m a newbie…this statement “Remember to renew the domain itself with your registrar, too” is on the page I am renewing my domain mapping on. I think that my names were renewed with Go Daddy last month. Is Go Daddy the registrar? Now that I’m updating with you do I have to contact them as well?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Diandra,
Yes, the registrar of the domain: thestarlightexperience.info is GoDaddy as seen here:
http://who.wildwestdomains.com/WhoIs.aspx?prog_id=wildwestdomains&domain=thestarlightexperience.info
It looks like the registration is set to expire on June 6th, 2015.
Please note that the registration must be renewed with GoDaddy and the Domain Mapping needs to be renewed through us for the domain to stay up and running. You domain mapping with us is set to expire on June 18th, 2015.

Thank you so much for clarification! One more question…if I wanted to sell e-booklets on here would I need to switch this sight to a wordpress.org sight?

Hi Diandra,
Yes if you are the author of these e-booklets, then you can sell them on WordPress.com.
You can add a Buy now or Donate PayPal button as seen here:

Thanks, good to know. One of my “authors” is the author of the e-books. Is that ok? She has no site and will be contributing to this site.
-
Yes as long as the author is aware of this and if the author is a user of the site it is fine.

Thanks! I have a question about our blog 2RealEstateChicks.com. I have it under wordpress.com. We’re just getting started posting on it so it’s not public yet. I took a class with someone and they said in order to sell things I would have to switch to wordpress.org. Now, we don’t know what we might want to sell – our own e-books perhaps, but what if we wanted to sell t-shirts that someone else made or some objects that someone else made (would that be an “affiliate”?) then would it be best to move that over to .org site before we get started? I like the .com because I’m new at this, and for thestarlight experience.info I am ok leaving it there. But for the 2realestatechicks.com I need flexibility because I don’t know what all we might do down the road.

Please note that you can only sell products that you have made, not products made by someone else. If you plan on selling products that you have not made it would be best to move to .org now.
This guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
