Why am I getting a "fatal error" when I try to activate the shortcode embeds?

    The theme I’m using [Soundboard] with my WP site includes a video widget that supports Soundcloud. When clicking activate, I get this:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare soundcloud_shortcode() (previously declared in /homepages/36/d420953327/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/soundboard/includes/shortcodes/shortcode-soundcloud.php:39) in /homepages/36/d420953327/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/shortcodes/soundcloud.php on line 60

    WHY WHY WHY??? Help me fix???

    Could you try and disable all other plugins and reactivate Jetpack. This way we can see if other plugins interfere with Jetpack.

    Also make sure you are running the latest WordPress and Jetpack version:
    http://www.wordpress.org
    http://www.jetpack.me

    Thanks for replying, kardotim. My only installed plugins are Akismet, Jetpack and Hello Dolly (guilty pleasures…).
    Nevertheless, I tried what you suggested and had the same outcome.

    Using WP Ver. 3.4.1 and Jetpack version current as of today.

    If you temporarily switch to the Twenty Eleven theme, do you still have the same problem?
