Why am I getting email from a domain I don't own?

  I received a WordPress year in review email from a site I don’t own or use. I contacted the domain’s owner, and they say they do not even use WordPress (they are using Weebly). How did this happen? How can I report it to the actual WordPress help desk and not the forum?

  What is the URL of the blog? If you post it here you will save Staff time. Know that there is a backlog.

  The site is http://www.mayazaido.com. However, the site is 404ed at current.

  Hi there,

  That site used to use WordPress and was linked to WordPress.com, and it was still in our system. That year in review email went a bit astray and ended up going to you — I’m sorry about that! I’ve made sure the site isn’t connected to your account in any way, so that shouldn’t be an issue going forward.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
