Why am I getting nearly continuous WordPress failures to save or upload media in a blog post under c

    For more than 24 hours I have been getting nearly continuous failures on saves of new blog posts in progress and failures to upload photographs (media) from my hard drive to the media gallery. What’s going on? My network connection is fine and all other web sites are working properly in either Firefox or Safari on a Macintosh with the latest OS.
