Why am I getting only my posts?
-
After posting an item today I saw that the page I usually get when clicking on to my blog had changed. The original page had my links, pages, latest post, and the link to sign in. I can’t find that page now. And when I try to get to it all I get is the posts page. I’ve emptied my cache but that hasn’t helped. This hasn’t happened before. I can’t sign in unless I go to the wordpress site. The links, pages etc. are there on my dashboard, but I can’t get back to the original page. Any clues? Thank you.

Hi there,
Layout issues like that (where your sidebar disappears) can sometimes happen if extra HTML code gets accidentally added to one of your posts. We have some additional details about that and tips for how to fix it here: Layout Issues
I took a look at your blog, and it looks like your latest post here might be the culprit: http://garylachman.co.uk/2014/07/03/reply-to-sandy-robertsons-review-of-aleister-crowley-magick-rock-and-roll-and-the-wickedest-man-in-the-world/
I’d recommend editing that post to see if you can find any extra, stray HTML in there. If you have questions about that or can’t get it sorted out, please let me know!

Thank you! I found ‘code’ and deleted it and then got to the wigets and it is pretty much back to normal. Many thanks again for your help.
All the best,
Gary
