Why am I not receive an email notification when someone follows my blog?

  There are two users for my blog. shelleyfreedman at (email visible only to moderators and staff) receives a notification email when someone follows http://yolandemorin.com, but I don’t at (email visible only to moderators and staff). Our settings looked to be the same, I think.

  Under Settings > Discussion > Email me whenever is ” Someone follows my blog” is ticked.

  Appreciate your help with this.

  Hi Yolande!

  Currently the user: shelleyfreedman is the site owner (the one who created the site) and the site owner is the only one who receives new blog follow emails. If you would like to be the one that receives these emails instead, you would have to be set as the site owner.

  If that’s what you would to do please let me know, and I will get this process started. This will include getting confirmation from shelleyfreedman.
