Why are all my menu items either "About" or "Home" templates?

Hey everyone!
Quick question that I’m sure there is an obvious answer for but I have not been able to find through hours of digging.I am building a site using the Penscratch to showcase my work.
When I go to Appearances>Menu it only allows me to add either an ‘About’ page or ‘Home’ page template.
I tried just adding four ‘About’ pages and then titling them differently but although the titles changed, every time I would edit something on one page, the changes would apply to all of the pages.
Is there a way to either unlock the connectedness of these templates or to add other options into the Menu Structure in the first place?

You’re not adding a template to the menu structure. You’re adding a link to existent pages. As timethief suggest you’ll have to create more pages or posts or links in order to have additional items to choose from.

The “About” page isn’t a type of page which you can choose from. It is a single page. You’ve merely added a link in a custom menu to the same page four times. When you edit the content of the page, then any link to the page will bring you to the same page. It’s one page, not four.
