Why are my followers are not receiving notifications of new postings?

    I’ve understand that 4 followers (including myself, I signed up as a way to see if notifications were being sent out) have not been receiving email notification of new postings to my blog. I do receive other notifications from WordPress, so I don’t think it’s a problem with privacy settings. In fact one follower received notification that I had responded to her comment, but she did not get a notification of my recent posting. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
