Why are my pages disappearing?

  When I publish and view the pages are there. when I click home, they disappear and are replaced by an “about” in the menu bar. The page in particular was “About This Notebook.”

  Is there a way to reset the blog to orignal settings? I am just starting it and will not lose anything.
  my other site, created earlier this week, seems to be working fine. It’s address is:
  stevesnotebook.wordpress.com
