Why are my picture files for my posts not displaying properly?
-
I uploaded picture media files to my posts, but three of the pictures will not display at all as thumbnails when I pull it up on my computer, and two of the pictures that display are not the pictures on the posts. When you click “read article” everything shows up correctly. My husband viewed my site mobile and everything displays fine. We asked a friend to view it on his computer, and it appears the same way as on mine.

Hi there, I’d be glad to take a look at this.
Would you mind linking to the posts or pages which aren’t correctly displaying some of the images, so I can take a look? Thanks very much.

Thanks for the link. For thumbnails to be displayed in Oxygen on the blog’s front page, they need to be at least 470 pixels wide so they’ll fit into the designated rectangular area properly.
The images in those three posts were inserted at less than 470 pixels wide. Try inserting the “size large” version of those images and then they should then show up as thumbnails on the blog’s front page.
Two of the pictures that display are not the pictures on the posts.
Try removing those images from your Media Library.

I will resize the pictures, however, I just attempted to delete the two files that shows up in the wrong spot and two other ones took their places. Do I have to delete all my photos and then put them back?

It looked like you had several images “attached” to some of your posts – you can see in your Media Library which images are attached (connected) to which posts:
https://yourartisticbest.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php
The column which says “Uploaded to” shows you which post each image is attached to. If you remove an image from a post which has another image attached, that image will replace it on the thumbnail.
Just let me know if you have further questions!
