Why are my slide shows not showing up on my blog?

  When I upload my slide show it says Not Found – Content No Longer Available. I am following the same steps I always do but now it’s coming up blank.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I checked your site at https://ccclearningandmastery.wordpress.com/ and I see that you’re embedding SlideShare Slideshows there. Can you give me a link to the slideshow you’re trying to add to your blog, so I can take a closer look at it?

  If you’re trying to upload that slideshow to a new blog post, please also save the blog post as a draft, so I can also look at that draft to see why it’s coming up blank on your blog.

  This is the slide show from slideshare. I have followed the exact same steps I have done with all other presentations I have uploaded. I have now left the presentation up for you to have a look.

  Hi there,

  Thanks for sharing that. For some reason, Slideshare isn’t able to find the right slideshow when you use that embed code. Can you please try using the WordPress shortcode to embed that slideshow instead? (You can get that shortcode from the same embed screen as the iframe embed code you’re using.)

  It looks like this is the WordPress shortcode for that slideshow:

  [slideshare id=48139028&doc=markingtipsslideshow-150514095908-lva1-app6892]

  That’s a more reliable way to embed your Slideshare slideshows on your site here. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

  Thanks – this has worked! :)

  I’m not sure where you found this code – can you please explain? I usually just copy and paste it from the upload page on slideshare.

  Sure! Sorry, I didn’t realize there was a different way to get that embed code. :)

  After you upload the slideshow, instead of copying the code from that page, you can click the link to view your uploaded slideshow. That will take you to a page like this:

  You can then click the arrow in the bottom left corner of the presentation to get the different sharing codes, including the WordPress shortcode. Our SlideShare Slideshows page also shows what that looks like.
