Why aren't my image links opening in a new window?

  Hello,

  In a recent blog post I included images and linked to them in the comments section of the image. The links work, however they do not open in a new window, even though I’m 99% positive I have the correct setting on and all links should open in new windows. Can you please help?

  A second question/frustration – how can I get rid of the comments section at the top of every post? I’m using the theme Bloggy. I can not figure out how to get rid of this. I don’t have a large audience yet and I think its a huge turnoff to see this at the top of every blog post: comments = 0. Please help!!!

  Hi there!

  Can you give me a link to the post where you’re having this issue?

  As for your second question, you can add this code to the CSS pane in the Customizer to hide the comment count at the top of your posts:

  .entry-info .bloggy, .entry-info .numbercomment {
  	display: none;
  }

  It looks like your images aren’t set to open their links in a new tab. You can find how to change this here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-settings/#advanced-options
