Why aren't my postings being sent out via email?

  I posted our monthly update on August 1 and never received an email with the same information. Neither did any of my followers. I republished the posting to be sent out just a bit ago and still haven’t received any email.

  We specifically set up a blog (with auto emails) for our followers so we can ease up on some back end coordination. Please help!

  I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  Please do as @timethief has advised you. I can look into the emails to see if they did not receive email notifications.

  Please note that email notifications are completely controlled by your followers. Your followers can check their own settings – you wouldn’t be able to do this for them. Have them check their Blogs you Follow email notifications by going here:

  http://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  In addition, have them check their Delivery Settings here to make sure they are not blocking emails from WordPress.com:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/subs-delivery/

  If they are email subscribers, have them check their settings here:

  Status

  Nevertheless, I am currently following your blog to see if I get an email for your next published post. Let me know when you publish your next post!

  Thanks for your help everyone! I did send out another posting on August 6, in the morning, and the email seemed to be delivered to everyone – at least everyone I asked to check for me. Maybe the posting in question was sent at a busy time for WordPress’ servers and mine got lost in the shuffle.

  Here is a WordPress user who didn’t receive the August email: tulip15
