Why aren't my statistics showing up?

I have looked through the forums but nothing seems to be close to what I want. My stats on my blog is not working. I have 2 blogs, 1 is fine the other does not show stats. I would like to know how to get the statistics working. I created the blog a few days ago, but that should not be a problem should it?

People can follow and like a site through the WordPress.com Reader, which does not put them directly on your site, so it doesn’t count as a page visit in your statistics.
