Why aren't people's comments displayed on my blog?
-
People were leaving me comments and they were being sent to my gmail inbox but not being displayed on my posts. Recently, comments aren’t even being sent to my email inbox. I have checked the comments section of my dashboard and it says I don’t have any comments when I know I do. Under discussion settings I went through and checked to see if I checked a box that wasn’t allowing certain comments through but that section appears fine. I checked to see if I enabled comments on all my posts and I did. I also made sure
i checked the enable comments box on my posts. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you give me an example of a comment that someone left, and what post or page it was left on? I can use that information to look into this for you.

Blog Post Title: “What’s In My Cup”

Thanks! I figured out what’s happening. :) Since you have a Contact Form on that post, visitors can fill out the contact form and send it in — that’s different from leaving a comment in the “Leave a reply” section at the very bottom of the post.
You can see what people have entered in a contact form by going to Feedback > Feedback in your blog’s dashboard here:
https://caffeinatedandstylish.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedback
When someone leaves a message using a contact form, that message will be emailed to you but it won’t appear publicly on the blog. If you’d like the comments to be published on the blog itself, I’d recommend removing the contact form from the post and encouraging visitors to use the “Leave a reply” box to comment.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
