Why can i not delete my WordPress account?

    Why can I not delete my WordPress account? This is totally unacceptable. There is no possible excuse for this blatant misuse, that you keep my account details and my association with your site against my will. It is an affront to my personal integrity, a kind of stealing, and it is underhand tricks like this which give internet sites likie yours a bad name!

    I’m sorry to hear you want to leave WordPress.com! Is there anything you may need help with before you go? WordPress.com accounts are permanent, but you can easily delete your blog.

    If you are trying to unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”.
