Why can I not login to another blog and post comments?

  I cannot login to a blog I follow to post NEW comments. I can post replies.

  I can login through WordPress and see the blogs I follow on the Reader and such.

  Blogs aren’t forums and they aren’t wikis.
  We can only comment on blogs we follow.
  We can only publish post on our own blogs.
