Why can some of my readers no longer comment on my blog?

Hello,
a reader of my blog got a note yesterday that she would write comments too fast after the other. But today she could not even send any comment. She writes it, presses the send button but nothing happens. Even the page does not change or show any reaction.
What could the problem be?

So she is not getting any error message at all? Can you try having her log out, clear her cache, and log back in again?

No, she did not even get any error message at all.
But I told her to do what you suggested.
Now she could comment again. But after 3 comments she got a message that she is too fast and should slow down. We will see whether she gets blocked again. -
There is a time limit for comments to prevent automated commenting by spam bots. Typically it doesn’t affect normal users because humans take a bit to think about how they are writing whatever they want to say. But from time to time if someone is making multiple short comments, they can get caught in it.

Indeed she is one of the faster ones – in thinking and writing. I will tell her and then she will know it for future comments.
