Why cann't I download a zip file which I uploaded yesterday?

Happy New Year!
The following problem happened for the first time since my subscription:
Yesterday I uploaded the file https://bzquality.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/bzqfrommk3-2014-12-31-5-0.zip
Today I am trying to test it but I cannot download it.
I receive the message
bzqfrommk3-2014-12-31-5-0.zip couldn’t be downloaded.
I can download other zip files uploaded previously.
How can I solve this?
(I assume my visitors cannot download it either).

That is very odd.
Have you tried uploading the whole thing again? If not, please give that a try. Please do not delete the existing zip in case we need it for troubleshooting.

It is very odd, never happened to me in the last two years!
Actually I DID upload it a number of times, before the new year and after.
I have now done it again, for you, twice:
I have created a fresh zip with slightly changed name,
and another copy of it too: https://bzquality.files.wordpress.com/2015/01/bzqfrommk3-2014-12-31a-copy.zip
I uploaded them, but I still cannot download them, can YOU somehow? -

I ran another kind of test with just as odd results:On my home page https://bzquality.wordpress.com/
I inserted twice an older similar zip file (BZQfromMK3 2014-11-27) which I had uploaded last November.
That old version file had been downloaded by many users, until I replaced it with a newer version. BUT now that it has been re-inserted on the page, I CANNOT download it!The simple man’s conclusion, in simple words, is:
If I NOW insert a zip file to my home page, this file cannot be downloaded! WHY?

BZQfromMK3 is just a small .exeBZQ 2014-12-28 has a couple of .exe files and other types

EXE files are typically blocked by our security systems. There are just too many security and virus risks associated with executable files. I’m afraid there is no way around this as far as uploading to WordPress.com.

In the last 2 years I have uploaded many zip files to WordPress.com , which contained .exe files, and all this time there was no problem at all.
Suddenly since 29th Dec 2014 this facility doesnot work any more!
At the same time, I assume that many many other WP sites like mine have some .exe files for distribution. Therefore all this will cease to work from now on?
How will all .exe files be distributed from now on, for that matter as far as the WordPress customers are concerned?
Could you please tell me is there any possible way in the world that I can distribute my .exe files in a web site?
e.g. is there another website which can do this?
or, do I have to somehow transform the .exe files before I upload to WP?

The only file types accepted on WordPress.com are those listed here:
As to why you were able to upload them in the past, I am unsure. However, we have never supported uploading of exe files simply due to the significant security risk they represent.

e.g. is there another website which can do this?There are any number of other sites that could help with this. https://www.dropbox.com/ is probably the most well known. But there are many others.
You could also look into setting up hosting and migrating to a self-hosted WordPress site:
