Why can’t google see me?
-
I have double-checked that my privacy settings are public, and I even tried the site verification instructions for Google listed on your support page, but my site is still not showing in Google searches. What am I missing here? My site has been up for over 6 months now and I don’t know what else to do at this point.

Hi there,
I can confirm that your site is public and that nothing is blocking search engines from visiting it and that updated sitemaps are available for search engines at https://amandaderrico.wordpress.com/sitemap.xml
For example, the site is being indexed by Bing as you can see in the screenshot here:
I agree though, Google does not appear to be indexing this site, even though it is public and fully accessible to them. When I visit your site settings I see you added the Google Search Console tracking code, so that would not be an issue.
However we’re not in direct control of Google and what sites they list in search results. Other than confirming the site is public and accessible to search engines, there is nothing more we can check on this end. In this case I would recommend contacting Google Search Console support and asking why your site is not being indexed in Goggle as it is in other search engines.
You can contact GSC support here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/?hl=en#topic=9128571
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
