why can't I add photo gallery & slide show as before.

  add media does not work. cannot add photo gallery, or slide show. format is completely different and unfamiliar. I have uploaded the same gallery 3-times. But it is not registering as being uploaded and I cannot add it to my blog.

  For galleries, make sure that you’re following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/

  As for slideshows, the traditional method of inserting them after upload was lost, and we are working to restore that. For now, we have updated the support documentation in regards to using the older shortcode method: http://en.support.wordpress.com/slideshows/
