Why can't I comment on other WordPress blogs?

    For the past few days any comments I have written on other WordPress blogs have disappeared into the ether. Before they always appeared more or less immediately, or at least appeared with a message saying “Your comment will appear after moderation”. I’ve privately corresponded with another WordPress blogger and she is having the same difficulty. What’s changed and what should we be doing in order to comment on other WordPress blogs? Thanks!
