Why can't I import from WordPress blog to WordPress blog

  I recently decided to re-brand my site, to http://themindofmorrison.com. My past blog, which I’ve decided needs to either take on that address or be exported to that address. I have 75 full tagged, photo-laden posts, so ideally, I’d just change the original blog’s name from http://cmspretentiousilliterate.wordpress.com/ to my new site. I don’t even know if I’m being hosted correctly. Help please…
