  I keep getting this message when I try to post a new post.

  Please refresh the page and try again.

  my blog URL is http://alexalvis.wordpress.com/ and not any of the options listed below – although I had to choose one to even ask this question.??

  The account you are posting from is not associated with http://alexalvis.wordpress.com/. So the issue may be just that you are not logging into the correct WordPress.com account.
