Why can't I subscribe to anyone's blog today by using my email?
-
Can’t subscribe to anyone, claiming I’m using an “invalid address.” The only thing invalid is your response.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
I believe that error message indicates that the URL is invalid not your email address. What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you cannot subscribe to please?
-
Thanks for your reply, timethief. There are several—every one that I’ve tried today. Two are:
http://filmisawesomesauce.com/ whose link is:
http://widgets.wp.com/follow/index.html# -
This is a site link http://filmisawesomesauce.com/ to a site that is hosted by WordPress.COM.
Why are you attempting to use this?
http://widgets.wp.com/follow/index.html#You can easily follow that blog by clicking the Follow link found in the Admin bar at the top of the site. Read more about following blogs here http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/
-
Would that I could, timethief. My point is that I can’t follow it by clicking anything that tells me to click on it to follow the blog. Not sure what you mean by the first comment, since we’re on WordPress.COM.
-
You have a dark gray colored Admin bar and no matter which .wordpress.com hosted sites you visit when logged in to wordpress.com you will find there is a Follow link on that Admin bar. Click it http://en.blog.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/follow.png?w=59&h=19 to follow any wordpress.com blog in the WordPress.com Reader, knowing that unless the bloggers have set up a follow blog widget for email subscribers that subscribe by email option is not available to you.
-
Again, every time I try to use that button, as well as the others, I cannot get anything but an error message. There must be some other problem, either on my end or yours.

I just followed http://filmisawesomesauce.com/ and received this:

I am using the first browser listed on your list. There is no admin bar present on the blog. I see an admin bar on nearly every site I subscribe to, and even others that I don’t.

2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 iMac running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/
Version 37.0.2062.124………Google Chrome is up to date.

I will post in the following message.
-
Since drag and drop doesn’t work, nor will the link button allow me to share it from my desktop, how do I share my image with you? There is nothing on snag.gy that mentions WordPress.
-
-
Yes. I see no link to WordPress. Please just detail the snag.gy procedure for me as if I were an alien. You folks apparently assume knowledge on my part that I don’t seem to possess. Thanks for your help. Would that this were simple…
