Why can't I upload images to my blog?

Having problems uploading images on my posts. “an error ocurred. please try again later.” It has been like this for so long I am almost quitting my blog. Please, help me. I have a Dell laptop and I am not an expert in computer issues, so I’d really appreciate it if you can explain to me having this in mind. Indra

What are the file types of the images you are trying to upload?
