Why can’t I upload pictures on my blog?
-
I’m using a primary domain. I cannot upload pictures on my blog. I’m only getting the option of ‘Insert from URL’ when I’m trying to upload a picture. They’re not giving me the option of uploading a image. How can I upload my image?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, if you’ve been uploading full size images right out of your camera to your above site at thetravelfreak2000.wordpress.com that could have eaten up your free 3GB of storage very quickly. It’s really important to resize and optimize your images before uploading them to your WordPressdotcom website which not only saves you storage space, but also makes the images load faster for your site visitors.
Have a look at the upper right corner of your site’s Media Library to see what percentage you have used and how much is left. If that percentage is close to 100% you can upgrade your plan directly from the link there.
Here’s more on adding storage space https://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

Thanks for checking.
Have you tried logging out of WordPress.com, clearing your browser cache and cookies (which will also log you out of any other site you are logged in on) and then shutting down your browser and reopening it? Alternatively, try using a different browser to the one you are currently using or try using a private/incognito window.
Let us know how that goes.

You’re very welcome. Glad it was an easy fix, but I still suggest resizing and optimizing your images so that your images are smaller. You can see suggested image sizes at the very bottom of the Independent Publisher 2 theme showcase page. https://wordpress.com/theme/independent-publisher-2 That will make your free storage space last much longer so you don’t run into the other issue. :) Cheers.
