Why can't people I invite read my new blog?

    No one can read my blog even though I emailed out invitations to open the URL link. My invitees are able to open a page with the header to the blog but underneath that title there is a message stating that there is no content available. However,I can successfully see my own blog when I open the URL link. Please advise me about what I should do to correct this. I have checked the box which permits access to the blog (but have also checked the box stating a preference that my blog is not picked up by search engines).
