Why can't search engines find my site?

  when you type my site name into google it wont show up, ive already gone to the settings -> readings and selected allow search engines to index this site however my site still wont come up in google.

  Hi there!

  WordPress.com automatically notifies Googles of every update. However, it can take 4-6 weeks for search engines to discover new content. Registering your site on Google’s webmaster tools and requesting an update may help speed up the process.

  Since your site is very new, Google probably hasn’t gotten a chance to fully index it yet. Setting up the webmaster tools as explained above will help, but it will take Google a couple of weeks to fully index your site and start including it in search results.
