Why did my site crash when I installed jetpack?
-
I downloaded jetpack to my server hosted by dreamhost and when I installed it from the dashboard the whole site, http://www.focoeconomico.org, crashed and I get the message
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Sharing_Advanced_Source in /home/pan1962/focoeconomico.org/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/sharedaddy/sharing-sources.php on line 122
what do I do now? I cannot access anything

If you are able to access your site through FTP, please remove the ‘Jetpack’ folder that’s inside the /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Before you reinstall it, please try and disable all other plugins. This way we can see if other plugins interfered with Jetpack.
Otherwise contact the Dreamhost support to help you access the site again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, i did what you suggested and it installed. However, there is a new problem now. I can´t see the old comments in the blog

I fixed the comments problem. It was an issue with intensedebate, which I now deactivated.
I don´t see the facebook and twitter links in the comments though.
Can I activate intensedebate and see the previous comments in the blog? Is there a spanish interface for intense debate or one that I can edit?
-
Please make sure IntenseDebate and Jetpacke Comments are not enabled at the same time. Could you please try to disable IntenseDebate, activate Jetpack Comments, and then see if your see the previous comments?
You can find more information about IntenseDebate in a different language on this page.
