why didn't my first blog make it?

  I guess I may have jumped the gun. Went in tonight to find a location where it identified me and looked like i could just name my message and go to it. I wrote a blog I really would like to make it but after I hit publish button, message in red at top of page said something like. Oops, you forgot to write anything.
  What happened? I hope it is saved on your end…it was really good.
