Why do I have a new blog although I abandoned the process. Am I being charged?

  Hi,

  I tried to create a new blog named “Just my luck” last night. I was told the name was taken. I was offered the opportunity to upgrade to a different account which would have charged me $18. I abandoned that process. I abandoned the whole “create a new blog” process, since I wanted to think about another name.

  To my HUGE surprise I found a new blog registered under my name called “Just my luck” this morning. How did that happen?! And am I being charged for this? This was never my intention and I clearly recall only ever hitting the “create free blog” button. This is my third blog, so I know what I am doing.

  Please let me know. I’d like to keep the “just my luck” blog, of course, if possible, but not if I am being charged for it.

  Unless you gave a credit card number and got a receipt you were not charged – the blog URL you reference is for a free blog – if you tried to register justmyluck.com – that name would have been an upgrade that you would have to pay for
