Why do I have to pay hosting when I already have a hosting company?

    Why did I have to pay for hosting when my domain company allows for multiple hosting on one site?

    I’m not exactly sure how to answer your question. You have a domain with another host?

    To clarify, we are not the only provider of WordPress sites, so if you already have a domain and hosting plan with someone else, it is likely that you can set up a self-hosted WordPress site with them directly.

    You can start a WordPress site with us here at WordPress.com, or you can start one with your current host, but you do not usually need both.
