Why do I have two sites?

I wan’t to have only one site. I bought my domain ( themodernsatanicman.com ) and i deleted the free site I had before which was: thmodernsatanicman.wordpress.com i believe. On my wordpress app it shows I’m ‘following’ myself; and it shows only three pages to my site when I know there is a lot more. I am new to all this and it’s quite frustrating. And what is ‘mapping’?
