Why do I have two sites? And will deleting one, ultimately delete both?

    My WordPress account displays two “Sites.” One of them is relationshipbs.wordpress.com and the other is relationshipbs.org. Is there a way to delete the one that says “wordpress” in the URL and only make changes to my .org site without deleting my entire account? They act as two separate accounts so making changes to one does not update the other.

    relationshipbs.wordpress.com is a WordPress.com site. relationshipbs.org is a self-hosted WordPress site connected via Jetpack.

    You can delete the WordPress.com site without it affecting your self hosted site.

    Please bear in mind that once deleted, that site’s WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might want to choose one of the other options listed on the the page linked above.
