Why do links go to category pages instead of content pages?
-
Hi. I’ve looked and can’t find the answer. The menu links go to category pages instead of where I want them to go, the content pages. Also, I can’t find where to add or remove categories, so I couldn’t determine the answer to my question there.
I could very well be misinterpreting something related to pages.
Thanks!
I guess I can’t attach images here.

Hi there!
I visited your site at allpointsservices.wordpress.com and I can see that the two links in the menu are opening static pages. Have you already removed the category links?
As for creating and removing categories, please follow the instructions on this page: https://wordpress.com/support/posts/categories/
You can add categories anytime you’re writing a new post. To edit or remove them, you can click My Site → Posts → Categories.
To add or remove them from the menu, you’ll need to go to My Site → Appearance → Customize → Menus → choose the menu area. Once there, you can follow the instructions from this page to add/remove menu items: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/
Feel free to let us know if there’s anything else you need and we’ll be happy to help.
