Why do my new subscriber notifications no longer contain the reader's address?

  When I first started my blog, whenever a reader would sign up for an email alert for a new post I would receive a notification with their address. Now I receive a notification saying “someone is following your blog” but it doesn’t give the name or address. Why the switch? I didn’t change anything.

  We never gave out a specific address, just an approximate location.

  We are no longer including that for a variety of reasons.
