Why do my pictures come up with the old domain name of my blog?
-
I changed my domain name in August from milkismycoffee.wordpress.com to astudyinsweet.com because the latter was more fitting and I didn’t want to pay for a new custom blog AGAIN. Some parts of my blog still have the former name on them, even though everything says it’s been switched over. For example, when someone clicks on a picture of mine, instead of having it from A Study in Sweet, it says it is from Milk is my Coffee, even though A Study in Sweet is my primary blog name. Is it possible to get everything to say A Study in Sweet? Or is it hopeless without purchasing another blog?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Is it possible to get everything to say A Study in Sweet?
Yes, absolutely! :) Let me try to explain what’s going on:
Your custom domain astudyinsweet.com is what visitors see when they visit your site. However, your free WordPress.com address is what you see in your site’s dashboard — that’s used to make sure nothing ever happens to your content, even if you stop using your custom domain. That same WordPress.com address is also used on your individual image files, to make sure they never get lost either.
Right now, your free WordPress.com address is still milkismycoffee.wordpress.com. You can change your WordPress.com address if you’d like, though. (That will only change what you see in places like your site’s dashboard and on links to individual images. It won’t make any change to your custom domain on your site.) You can do that from the My Blogs page in your site’s dashboard.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi,
I found everything alright, so thank you! But when I entered “astudyinsweet” into the spot where I can change my name, it said “Sorry, this site already exists!” It exists because I BOUGHT astudyinsweet.com… but not astudyinsweet.wordpress.com. I still need help!!!

Hi there,
Sorry about that. I just checked, and the address http://astudyinsweet.wordpress.com/ is already taken, so you won’t be able to use that exact address. However, you could use a similar one like studyinsweet.wordpress.com instead, so it’s at least similar to your custom domain name. I hope that helps!
